Hope is real and it is something you are called to.
… the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18 NKJV)
Do you know the HOPE of His calling on your life?
As we get older and life continues on, something happens. We start to lose hope, we may not admit it but we start to accept status quo and this is how things are. Our dreams start to fade and collect dust. We just deal with the drama and trauma of circumstances without ever understanding the hope of our calling.
Jesus is the hope of your calling. The hope of who you are in your calling is being a son or daughter of God. The hope of what you’re called to do are the gifts, talents, and abilities He has given you to use for His glory.
The problem is we encounter setbacks and failures in which we draw back from the hope of our calling. Many of us live on our emotions and lose our hope. The bible is clear that hope deferred makes the heart sick. The bible is also clear that we should guard our hearts with all diligence for it determines our life. When our heart is broken we make decisions out of that brokenness. When our heart is sick we make decisions out of that sickness. When we are hopeless we feel helpless.
It’s imperative that we allow hope to pervade ever fiber of our being because in this hope we are anchored through every storm of life.
This hope we have is the anchor of our soul – Hebrews 6:19
Hope is a way of thinking. If you can’t set your mind on hope your default will be what is wrong or what will go wrong. When you’re thinking in hope you think about what could be and should be right for ourselves and those around us. Our next step is take those thoughts and speak what should be and could be right in our lives!
Rest your hope on the revelation that is Christ and let your hope rest on the grace that is God.

• Our worship team begin rehearsal in December! This is one more step towards our launch in February!
• Financially we are moving forward! We have seen $47,500 in commitments!
It’s amazing to see how God meets us in our steps of faith. I believe God is calling all of us to step out and trust Him. We are in a great time of faith for our family and we are hoping that you will partner with us. Please consider partnering with us for 6 or 12 months and help us launch strong. Because of our strategic partnership with the Association of Related Churches, your gift will be doubled up to $50,000.
Our goal is to raise $150,000 for our launch and $100,000 for our post-launch budget. That may seem like a lot to one person but if we all do what we can do individually then corporately we can make a huge difference!
Thanks for your prayers and support of Victorious Church! We launch on February 16th, 2014 and launch day will be here before we know it!
